Austin 2013 Review and Forecast
Hendricks-Berkadia released its 2013 Review & 2014 Forecast for the Austin metropolitan area. According to the report “Hiring will accelerate by 3.1% this year as local businesses create 26,600 new positions.” With rising employment over the past year and a forecast for continued job growth, Austin is well positioned to see significant appreciation in its property values. Cash flow will be inherently be reduced as capitalization rates are reduced as well.
